Roadpost’s new rate structure for International BlackBerry
rental services designed for savings and simplicity
Flattened price structure for long-term rentals offers more
choice for businesses with ongoing international communications needs
Toronto, ON (April 10, 2006) – Roadpost Inc., a leader of global voice and data
communications solutions for the international traveller, is pleased to
announce that it has flattened its fee structure for long-term International
BlackBerry rental program. By eliminating up front charges, Roadpost is now
able to offer customers a highly affordable and easy to manage option for
businesses requiring International BlackBerry services for multiple users.
“For many companies, buying International BlackBerry devices for users who only
travel occasionally is expensive and unnecessary,” says Morris Shawn, president
and CEO of Roadpost. “Our new flat fee structure offers an alternative for
companies that have multiple individuals travelling internationally. Long-term
rentals require no capital outlay, as well as allow companies to pool one or
several devices that can be assigned to different users when the need arises.
The new fee structure – combined with competitively priced usage rates – makes
Roadpost International BlackBerry rentals an ideal solution for controlling
costs while keeping the lines of communications open for travelling
professionals.”
Roadpost’s International BlackBerry service offers a number of benefits that are
not available through other providers. Rather than charging for web browsing
and email services on a per kilobit basis, Roadpost offers a flat daily rate
for unlimited web browsing, email delivery including the opening of email
attachments which is traditionally more expensive as it uses many KB . In
addition, Roadpost’s easy-to-use administrator portal allows users to activate
and/or deactivate the data portion of the device to save costs for those days
it is not in use. Users simply access the tool through a Web browser from any
location using their user name and password, and enter the telephone number of
the device they want to activate.
“We have put control in the hands of the user and eliminated those unpleasant
surprises for international charges that often appear on your bill after
returning from a business trip,” says Shawn. “I’ve heard stories of bills for
GPRS services while abroad reaching as high as $600. With unlimited browsing,
combined with our deactivation features, that won’t happen. No more second
guessing. You always know your costs even before you leave the country.”
The new long-term rates for International BlackBerry Service are $25 a month
then only $4 per day for unlimited data usage based on a one year commitment.
Roadpost also offers a short-term rental option for International BlackBerry
services.
