BGAN LaunchPad

BGAN LaunchPad is the software user interface that is standard across all terminals.

Separate from LaunchPad, users may also download our Inmarsat-developed TCP Accelerator software that significantly enhances the performance of TCP traffic in the 'send' direction.

Terminal USB Drivers

USB drivers are necessary for your PC to recognize the user terminal, please ensure you are using the latest version available.

Terminal Firmware

Here is the latest firmware for your BGAN terminal. The downloads include application notes and installation guidance, where available.

TCP Accelerator

Send faster emails and data files via BGAN using our Inmarsat-developed TCP Accelerator software. The TCP Accelerator for BGAN is available for Windows Vista, XP and Mac OSX for PowerPCs and IntelMac hardware. It's installed on a BGAN user's PC and significantly enhances the performance of TCP traffic over BGAN in the 'send' direction.

For Windows Vista or XP please take the following two steps to install and use the TCP Accelerator:

1. Download and install the TCP Accelerator.
2. Enable the TCP Accelerator in BGAN LaunchPad and LaunchPad will manage it automatically. See the TCP Accelerator manual for instructions.

For Mac OSX there are three steps to use the TCP Accelerator:

1. Download TCP Accelerator files - please note that the PowerMac and Intel Duo have different installers.
2. Unzip and install the two files contained in the downloaded zip file - please read the manual for instructions.
3. Enable the TCP Accelerator in BGAN LaunchPad and LaunchPad will manage it automatically. See the TCP Accelerator manual for instructions.
