Standard Airtime Rates

All satellite phone rental airtime rates are per minute, except SMS/text messages which are per message. The rates are the same for all satellite phones and rental plans.

Airtime Details

• All incoming calls and text messages are FREE with your Iridium satellite phone rental.
• All calls are billed in full minute increments, except SMS/text messages which are per message.
• All call types can be applied to your airtime bundle except calls to "non-Iridium satellite phones", which are billed at the standard airtime rate.
• Additional usage outside of bundle will be billed at standard airtime rate.
• Voicemail service is included FREE of charge with satellite phone rentals - most companies charge $15 to $25 for this! Calls to check voicemail are billed at the standard airtime rate.

Shipping Details

• Shipping is only $35 return and includes a Welcome Kit containing a prepaid return waybill and shipping bag. You don't have to pay anything else to return the satellite phone rental. We have the lowest shipping rates out there, go ahead and check!

Loss/Theft Protection Details

Loss/Theft Protection safeguards you against the loss, theft or damage of your satellite phone rental.

• If satellite phone rental loss/damage protection is waived, full replacement value (Iridium 9505A = $1,395.00, Iridium 9555 = $1,595.00) is required and all charges are liable until equipment is reported lost or stolen.
• The monthly satellite phone rental loss/damage protection requires a minimum commitment of one month (30 days), additional protection beyond 30 days is charged at a daily rate of $4.00 per day.
• Monthly satellite phone rentals returned in less than 30 days will still be subject to the minimum monthly loss/damage protection fee of $120.00. No credits are available for early monthly rental returns within the first 30 days.

Daily Satellite Phone Rental Plan Details

• Daily satellite phone rental plans are billed from the required date (chosen in the last stage of the checkout) until the day you ship it back.

Monthly Satellite Phone Rental Plan Details

• Monthly satellite phone rental plans are billed from the required date (chosen in the last stage of the checkout) until the day you ship it back unless it's less than 30 days.
• Monthly satellite phone rental plans require a minimum commitment of one month (30 days). Additional rentals beyond 30 days is charged at an the equivalent daily rate of $6.66/day for the Iridium 9505A and $9.99/day for the Iridium 9555.
• Monthly satellite phone rentals returned in less than 30 days will still be subject to the minimum monthly rental fee of $199.80 for the Iridium 9505A and $299.70 for the Iridium 9555. No credits are available for early monthly rental returns within the first 30 days.
